Whether your locations are small to mid-size and require just a few cameras, or are part of a larger nationwide enterprise that require dozens of cameras at each location, VideoProtein can configure a system to fit your needs.

The basic building blocks required for every location are:
  • VideoProtein Software License
  • VideoRouter
  • Cameras

Software License

The software license enables users to access video from any local or remote location, using all of VideoProtein's functions and capabilities.

VideoRouter

The VideoRouter is the hardware appliance that resides at each location. Its functions include communicating between the cameras and the VideoProtein WebServer and video storage. Each VideoRouter can support 4, 8 or 16 cameras, depending on the model. The VideoRouter is configured to provide up to 2 TB video storage, although additional storage can easily be added.
In addition, VideoProtein offers a variety of optional equipment and services if you need them, including:
  • Cameras
  • Installation
  • POS integration
  • Accessories

Cameras

VideoProtein works with any IP and analog cameras, so you can re-use cameras from an existing surveillance system or select new ones. VideoProtein provides a wide variety of camera options from leading manufacturers to meet your specific needs.

Installation

VideoProtein provides professional installation of the complete video system through our nationwide network of installers.

POS Integration

VideoProtein offers video integration with some of the most popular POS systems on the market. Please contact us at sales@videoprotein.com to find out if your POS system is currently on our list of supported systems.

Subscription Options

VideoProtein offers three subscription options, all based on our VideoProtein 3.0 hosted IP camera management platform, that will allow 24 hour access to view live, recorded or event based video. With each subscription option, VideoProtein will also deploy our VideoRouter product to handle storage for 90 days of Motion Detect-based video capture at 5 Frames Per Second (FPS) at Mega Pixel resolution. It is assumed that each location will have approximately 7 cameras.

VideoProtein Hosted Option 1

Call for per-month price based on a 36 month contract (Equipment not included)

  • VideoProtein provides the ability to view live, recorded and event based video from any client computer via a standard web browser (IE or Firefox). (Java 1.6 is required)
  • VP will deploy a VideoRouter at each location (installation to be managed by VideoProtein).
  • Provide 24 hour user authenticated web access to the VideoProtein WebServer.
  • Access to all live, recorded and motion detect/event based video (24 x 7).
  • Monitor system health and provide email notification to specified users when any device is unreachable.
  • Include all software system updates, new releases, firmware updates and product support.
  • Phone support available during normal business hours (M-F, 9-5).

VideoProtein Hosted Option 2

Call for per-month price based on a 36 month contract (Equipment not included)
  • VideoProtein will provide the ability to view live, recorded and event based video from any client computer via a standard web browser (IE or Firefox). (Java 1.6 is required)
  • VP will deploy a VideoRouter at each location (installation to be managed by VideoProtein).
  • Provide 24 hour user authenticated web access to the VideoProtein WebServer.
  • Access to all live, recorded and motion detect/event based video (24 x 7).
  • Monitor system health and provide email notification to specified users when any device is unreachable.
  • Include all software system updates, new releases, firmware updates and product support.
  • VideoProtein will coordinate all service and replacement of hardware.
  • Phone support available during normal business hours with 24 x 7 on call support.
  • Upon an event/incident, customer can notify VideoProtein to research and provide video/image for up to 10 events per location per month.

VideoProtein Hosted Option 3 - All Inclusive

Call for per-month price based on a 36 month contract
  • Not applicable to existing locations.
  • Capital investment in cameras or VideoRouter not required.
  • Includes all Mobotix IP cameras, VideoRouter and associated hardware.
  • VideoProtein will provide the ability to view live, recorded and event based video from any client computer via a standard web browser (IE or Firefox). (Java 1.6 is required)
  • VP will deploy a VideoRouter to each location (installation to be managed by VideoProtein). *
  • Provide 24 hour user authenticated web access to the VideoProtein WebServer.
  • Access to all live, recorded and motion detect/event based video (24 x 7).
  • Monitor system health and provide email notification to specified users when any device is unreachable.
  • Include all software system updates, new releases, firmware updates and product support.
  • VideoProtein will coordinate all service and replacement of hardware.
